Fortnite, Call of Duty, and other top PUBG alternatives available in India

The government is also likely to scrutinise over 250 Chinese apps running in India — including the most popular mobile game PUBG, reported Economic Times.
PUBG was not banned in India as it is not entirely Chinese. PUBG PC was created and is managed by a South Korean Organisation called Bluehole. However, a large portion of PuBG’s distribution is handled by Tencent, a Chinese conglomerate. Moreover, PUBG Mobile is developed by Tencent. Hence the scrutiny.
Gamers in India are expecting PubG to be banned anytime soon. In case the popular mobile game is banned, people can explore these alternative apps.
Fortnite

Fortnite is the closest alternative to PUBG and has a similar game theme. A hundred players are on the battlefield fighting everyone till the winner is found. However, in Fortnite the players are supposed to build structures like ramps, ceilings, roofs, and doors. Moreover, Fortnite supports cross-platform functionality which allows a mobile user to play against a desktop user.
Although the game was developed by an American game developer Epic Games, Tencent owns a 40% stake in it.

Call of Duty is yet another royale battle game like Fortnite and PUBG where users fight a battle and the survivor wins the game. It is a first-person shooter game offering 7 maps and a battle royale mode. However, the game does not offer as many maps as PUBG does
Battlelands Royale

This is a multi-player game, made for mobile phones. While the theme of the game is much similar to other royale battle games but it offers a slightly different experience. For instance, only 32 players can participate in a battle which will last up to 5minutes.
Garena Free Fire: Rampage

Garena Free Fire is much easier to play than PUBG or Fortnite and offers a good alternative for beginners. Each battle is of 10 minutes and the user is placed on a remote island along with 49 other participants.
